One Night in Suratthani

Salam,

After our honeymoon trip to Koh Samui, we decided to spend one night in Suratthani.

Reason?

Our flight awal pagi from Surat Thani to Kuala Lumpur.

If on the same day baru nak bertolak dari Koh Samui takut terlepas flight.

Selepas google and baca kat tripadvisor, kami chose Wang Tai Hotel. 

Tak banyak hotel yang okay di Surat Thani, sebab Surat Thani ni bukanlah big city.

Sampai je di bus stop Surat Thani, kami terus ke taxi counter. Selepas tu kami beritahu nak ke Wang Tai Hotel. 

Dia suruh book terus untuk ke airport for hari esok. Mula-mula macam takut juga kena tipu tapi kami buat keputusan untuk bayar and book terus, tak payah call cab dah esok. 

Hotel ini agak tua and nampak old school sikit. Tapi setakat tidur satu malam tu boleh lah.
and forget about the buffet breakfast, they served pork.

Dan kami bernasib baik sebab book taxi siap-siap. Ada ramai couples yang nak balik KL stay di hotel tu, baru call taxi pagi-pagi. Jadi keadaan agak kelam kabut sikit.

Kalau siapa-siapa nak bermalam di Surat Thani, boleh lah consider this hotel. Tak mahal pun. dalam RM120 satu  malam.

KGB ( Killer Gourmet Burgers) @ Bangsar

Salam all, 

I memang teringin nak check out another gourmet burger place selain dari myburgerlab.

I keep on going back to myburgerlab few times to fulfill my craving. 

Seriously gourmet burgers memang to die for!

This time we want to check out KGB ( Killer Gourmet Burger)

Heard a lot of good review about this place, the burgers must be really good!

Small bottle of coke, very cute. 

This place less crowded than myburgerlab. Sekejap je beratur and terus dapat tempat.

Or maybe sebab kami datang dalam pukul 9pm lebih.

Bukan peak hour. 

KGB SPIKED RM15.90

Crust seared grassfed beef, sharp cheddar, crispy beef bacon and spicy KGB sauce. 

I fell in love with the beef patty at the first bite. So tender, juicy, meaty and flavourful. Didnt really care about the beef bacon but spicy sauce add extra kick to the burger.

Burger No 2:

BASH BURGER RM 18.90

Grilled Grassfeed beef, Beef bacon relish, provolone cheese, Caramelised onions and maple baked cornflakes.

Yes you heard it right, cornflakes. 

Cornflakes in a burger, genius. 

What I like about this burger is, the crunchiness that comes from the cornflakes. 

But the flavour is quite mild, no extra kick in this.

Beef patty and caramelised onions work wonders, but I need sauce, some special sauce to add ummphh into the taste.

Add another RM7 for a set, coke + fries. 

You can choose any flavour of the fries, we chose

Herbed fries and its not memorable. 

I prefer awesome fries at myburgerlab, larger portion and more herbs in it.

Lino's baby shower @ Delicious, Dua Residency

Salam all,

Last Saturday, Lino's sister, Pya planned for her baby shower party. It was a very short notice and since semua orang busy ,we can't gather everyone. Macam mana pun it was still fun and enjoyable.

I went to OU 2 hours before the party, to get her a present. 

I tak pernah masuk kedai yang jual baju baby before. So,I was a bit lost.

Nak beli apa pun tak tahu. Nak beli botol susu, im sure she already bought it. 

Nak beli toys, I dont know which one sesuai with toddlers. 

The salesgirl datang and helped me. Dia bagi a few cadangan yang sesuai for newborn, ada gift yang dah siap wrapped, and tiba-tiba I ternampak ada this fuschia dress. So cute. siap ada pop up flowers kat pinggang. Apa lagi, I cakap kat dia, I want that!!

Excited betul makcik ayya  ni

Dia macam berkerut lah. sebab that dress untuk baby yang dah besar, bukan newborn. 

Dia tunjuk lah baju-baju for newborn tapi semua tak menarik. Huuuuu

I really like that dress. The salesgirl asyik promote other stuff, macam tak bagi je I nak beli,

Masa kat cashier, she reminds me again,

"Kak, baju ni dia tak boleh pakai terus, kena tunggu 3 bulan lebih baru leh pakai. sebab besar, tak sesuai ni for newborn"

haha tak puas hati je kan dorang.

Comel kan?

I really like the fish sebab crispy and fresh. And of course, I finished the fish and left the fries to the kids

Kameradansa as my wedding photographer

Salam all, 

Nak mencari photographer agak susah for me sebab I agak cerewet bila ada kaitan dengan photos and videos. Bukan apa, bila dah habis majlis kahwin, apa yang tinggal untuk kita tengok dan kenang kembali adalah gambar-gambar dan video kahwin. 

I memang dah aim a few photographers dari zaman bertunang lagi, and I minta price quotation from them to compare.

Ramai yang tanya, kenapa tak ambil je photographer dari Kelantan? Lagi jimat kos.

Memang I fikir macam tu juga tapi bila berkaitan dengan photographer, 

kita kena tengok a few details. Cara dia ambil gambar, angle yang dia shoot, 

cara dia edit, cara dia edit dalam album. and paling penting chemistry antara kita dan photographer. 

And I sangat puas hati dengan my meeting with Kameradansa Principal, Aliff Afiq.

He is good in entertaining clients. 

So I decided to hire them as my wedding photographer. 

Another reason is, I suka sebab they know how to capture the moments. I tak nak lah semua gambar cuma kami je yang posing sakan. Nak jugak tengok moments masa majlis. Itu yang buat gambar nampak meriah. 

Kameradansa memang pandai bagi ideas for us, yela, kami bukan model professional. Jadi kalau nak posing memang kaku and mati akal. They guide us all the time and alhamdulillah, turned out gambar semua I puas hati.

They are very punctual, I tak mandi lagi, Diorang dah sampai rumah nak capture semua preparations before majlis. Tak sia-sia import jauh dari KL :)

Bride to be, boleh lah start booking your photographer 6 months before your wedding date, lagi awal lagi bagus. Lagi-lagi kalau tarikh kahwin tu memang hot dates macam cuti sekolah, public holidays.
Nanti gigit jari lah sebab photographer yang kita berkenan sudah di booked orang :)

Celebrate Birthday Buya di Bulgogi Brothers @ eCurve

Salam,

Last weekend on Saturday, I keluar with my college best friends, Adah & Buya. We used to be called as " Empat Serangkai" back then, simply because we were inseparable. ( Ada seorang lagi in our group, Ajah. But shes in Perak that time)

 Every activity in college we did together. 

And we are lucky sebab all four of us dapat duduk satu kelas for 5 1/2 years. Dari zaman foundation sampai degree. Of course, dekat hostel pun bilik sebelah-sebelah. Kami pergi kelas sama-sama, balik kelas, pergi makan, pergi library, keluar berjoli, jogging, tengok movie, pergi terawikh and we even escape kelas sama-sama. Bila seorang takde, semua empat takde. So a bit hard to cover from lecturer. 

Now you understand how close we are. 

Buya's birthday is coming and im not gonna be in KL around that time, so why not we have an early celebration?

Adah is getting hitched too so its quite enjoyable to tease her before big day hehe

Kami decided to try korean cuisine so Bulgogi Brothers!

Sebelum main dish sampai, kami dihidangkan dengan pelbagai jenis appetizer korea, ada kimchi, spinach, sweet potato mash, lotus root and kangkung. Ada juga corn, sweet beans and sweet potato rebus. Seronok juga munching mende ni sambil tunggu makanan siap. 

And semua appetizers ini refillable ya. 

Kimchi rasa macam asam pedas pun ada. I prefer kimchi sengkuang lagi sebab ranggup.

All of us mati kutu nak order apa, last time I datang dah makan barbeque so I nak try korea famous cuisine,

bulgogi bibimbab!

Bulgogi Bibimbab, bahagian atas ada beef, vegetables and raw egg on top of it, bahagian atas ada nasi panas. Served with spicy sauce. 

Cara makan? Amek spicy sauce dengan sudu and tuang dalam mangkuk ini. Ikutlah nak pedas tahap macam mana, then gaul-gaul semua bahan dalam tu. Bowl ini panas sebab nak kasi telur tu masak and be careful masa gaul-gaul tu.

Lepas gaul, boleh lah makan hehe I tak suka sangat bibimbab ni sebab rasa dia mild, takde extra kick. Tapi my friends suka pulak.

1 bulgogi bibimbab set berharga RM29.90 and if you are not a big eater, please share sebab food dia sangat banyak. tak habis nak makan sorang.

Lepas makan, kami nak pergi beli kek kat Baskin Robbins, tengok-tengok ramai gila orang queue and kerumun kat kiosk tu nak beli BR, rupanya sabtu lepas kan 31 ogos. Every 31st, BR buat promo 31% off. Buya pun taknak kek and nak 1 pint of ice cream.

Masya Allah, there is one couple in front of us macam nak bergaduh sebab lambat sangat queue. 

So sorry buya, we didnt get any cake for you.

Wedding Review : Pelamin Nikah

Salam,

Hari ini I nak buat review about my pelamin nikah. Actually my pelamin nikah is a bit simple.

I pilih nak pakai white masa akad nikah and nak semua decoration in pastel color. Rukhsana suggest to use red color roses as hand bouquet tapi I taknak sebab red color sangat menyerlah. I want everything to look calm and serene.

I memang  berkenan dengan color aqua blue sebab its a comfort color. itulah feeling yang i am looking forward to feel during my solemnization. Rukhsana add a lil bit of green, pink and purple to the flowers decoration yang mana I sangat suka sebab looked sweet aje :)

Another deco yang add "ummphhh" to the pelamin, is the hanging raindrop crystals. They took quite alot of time to put up the crystals. Thank you so much. Nampak lagi meriah pelamin tu with the raindrop crystals.

I am so happy with pelamin. Thank you to Rukhsana Ridwan team for the pelamin. Bila I tengok semula gambar-gambar kahwin, one of the things yang I tak regret was the pelamin. Alhamdullilah everything went well and according to the plan :)
