Dynat's big day!

Salam all, 

A lil history about Dynat & Ayya.

Dynat is my bestfriend from highschool, masa form one kitorang was dormates. Memang kita always fight with each other, macam anjing and kucing. Maybe sebab dua-dua pun tengah adapt hidup sekolah asrama. Jauh from family and tolerate level memang super low hehe

Dynat and I,  share katil double decker, I punya katil bahagian atas. I selalu gantung stokin kat bed head Dynat just to annoy her,sebab dia garang sangat. and kalau I nampak dia tengah tidur, I akan saja turun katil and buat-buat terpijak muka dia. Dynat was so mean, she once read my diary and told everyone about it. Cis! Tapi biasalah bila duk sekolah asrama, you have no one to lean on except for your friends. 

Lama-lama, kitorang get along and kurang bergaduh. We became so close sampai pergi makan, pergi kelas, pergi prep, outing pun together. Basically everything I did during my highschool, Dynat was there.

Obviously, during highschool I have more than one bestfriends, ( Bestfriends yang lain jangan kecil hati ya, this post is about Dynat sebab tu cerita pasal dia je, I LOVE YOU ALL)

After finished high school, I studied di Penang while Dynat di Cyberjaya, but our friendship still strong. Everytime I ke KL, I will stay at her house. I was there masa her graduation day, and dia pun datang masa my graduation day. And for every big events in my life, Dynat akan ada. If kami tak sempat jumpa, kami akan bergayut kat telefon for hours.

Bila Dynat get married, of course I feel very sad and excited at the same time.
Kami membesar bersama-sama, dan macam tak percaya dah sampai ke tahap ini.

Sweet Chat @ Setia City Mall

Salam all,

Last week, Selangor dapat public holiday on tuesday. So Amy, Shikin and I pergi Setia City Mall, saja nak check out  H&M store. Lagipun I memang dah aim nak beli satu baju kat H&M.

Before shopping, kitorang lunch dulu. Amy suggest makan kat Sweet Chat. I tak pernah try makan sini.

Meal set, RM17.90 - dapat main dish, boleh pilih from pasta, pizza, noodles and many more.

Plus iced peach tea and hot desserts ( small )

Amy's Chicken Pot Pie. Omg sangat sedap! I suka stuffing dia. sedap makan panas-panas. rugi tak order ni.

My meal - Spaghetti with gulai daging salai , I memang teringin nak makan gulai daging salai. Tapi tak pernah plak try makan dengan spaghetti. Macam fusion pula. So cuba lah. Not bad. Sedap jugak.

Baked Mac & Cheese. Shikin's normal meal. Memana pun makan ni. Haha Sedap kalau panas, bila dah sejuk, macam muak.

My mini hot dessert : Herbal soup. Sedapppp!

Shazlin's bachelorette party!

Salam all,

Early November, we all the alice girls organized bachelorette party for Shazlin / Lino ( nama manja) , she's getting married in December.

It was so tough to find a suitable date to do the party because everyone is so busy with own schedules.

The original plan was to do a quick dinner at Wondermilk, then we'll be spending the night at Gardens Hotel. Tapi, Lino need to catch an early flight to JB the next day so we cancel it.

Wondermilk tutup pukul 10pm. Lino, Amy, Shikin and I were stucked in the traffic so I texted the girls minta change place, nasib baik The Bee still ada spots for us. Alhamdullilah semua went well and Lino memang betul-betul terkejut sebab dia tak expect langsung ada party for her. She thought, it was a normal dinner with the alice girls.

The surprise look on her face? Priceless. rugi tak ambil gambar. Lino hampir menangis dah haha!

Anum couldn't make it so she sent this delicious pavlova with love. Sayang nya, lama sangat pavlova tu dalam kereta, so dah a bit penyek sikit.

I bought the sash one day earlier and Amy beli crown tuh sebab yang i jumpa too expensive!

Dynat yang prepare semua decorations ( thank god ada wedding planner dalam our group friends) ,

. I asked her to do pink roses hand bouquet for lino.

and she said, " Haa, pink? Boring lah pink"

Cannot. Lino loves pink. Must do pink. :)

Tapi dynat sangat creative, follow with her idea. pink hydrangea with purple roses. so pretty!

My bee burger, I tak really enjoy the food. so-so aje.

Notice the gulatis bag? will update more about that.

Thank you to semua orang yang contribute, Wan Dotte yang sampai very early to Publika sebab nak book tempat, Wondermilk tak receive reservation. Then kena tuka tempat to The Bee pulak. KB, who helps to contribute ideas and decide place. Seriously many brilliant ideas came up from her.

Amy yang tolong beli apa yang missing. Dynat yang prepare semua decorations.

Im thankful to have you girls. Yanti yang datang even tengah pregnant and thank you to her husband yang sangat sporting and understanding.

Shikin yang tak pernah join then datang for the first time even dia macam terkejar-kejar sebab ada another friend yang nak visit her house.

Im sure semua yang datang malam tu buat lino sangat happy and the most important is, she will remember this for the rest of her life, maybe? hehe

Zaity is getting married!

22nd September 2012, Zaity sudah selamat menjadi isteri orang and of course i want to be there for her solemnization and reception. Mana boleh miss, she is my bestfriend from highschool. Dulu almost every night I tidur at her dorm. Sebenarnya I dorm lain tapi i merempat di dorm Zaity and Khazliqah. Enjoyed sleeping in between them, i rarely stay in my own dorm. syok tau malam-malam Khazliqah tepuk-tepuk peha suruh tidur :)

I love her wedding dress, this dress kitorang beli kat Jakarta masa june trip aritu. Dress ni quite plain tapi she sent to the tailor, add beading and pop up flowers. The result? Lawa sangat :)

Sedih sangat masa akad nikah, lagi-lagi bila habis lafaz je, she whispered to me, " Weh, aku dah jadi bini orang dah.."

" Jangan cakap camtu boleh tak??! "

23rd September, Reception di Dewan Pavillion, Seremban.

Zaity asked me to be her bridemaid, one year earlier.masa my birthday pula tu. anything for the bridezilla.

And i would like to share funny story, masa bersiap for her reception. Sangat kelakar bila ramai terkejut, why i dressed up too? why i pun macam mak datin ni?

I pun macam terkejut, bukan bridemaid kena begitu kan?

Make up artist Zaity explained, orang kelantan memang macam tu. suka melaram. sebab dia pun asal kelantan juga.

I pun tak perasan, sebab in my family, if ada wedding, memang kitorang akan ada theme color for the family and semua akan beli baju baru and dressed up lawa-lawa. kalau pengantin start make up pukul 8 pagi, 8 pagi juga laa kami start make up. 

Different tradition, huh?

Stf girls if jumpa tak sah kalau tak kepochi, selalu buat onar di majlis orang.

Zaity, semoga berbahagia di alam perkahwinan ya. Doa yang baik-baik saja untuk kau and u know i love you so much!

Ben's General Food Store at Bangsar Village

Salam,

Early September is my best friend's birthday. So i decided to bring her out for the whole day, just do the girly stuff, ( mani pedi etc) and have a proper dinner. just the two of us. yes, I am a very romantic person.

Tiba-tiba je, her parents were in town and she need to spend time with them. takpe, family comes first!

so i just ada masa for dinner je with her. Itu pun dah lambat. we decided to go to Bangsar and I ajak dia try Bens General Food Store di Bangsar Village.



Latte RM7.90

Caesar Salad Rm12.90



 For appetizer, we chose caesar salad, portion nya quite small and tak puas makan. tapi with that price, i'll pass. kalau add grilled chicken sure lagi sedap.



Pescatora Pizza RM31.90



 Then we shared this pescatora pizza. Highly recommended! Thin crust and very cheezyyyy. super sedap!

Nampak kecil tapi sangat fulfilling.



Tomatoes, Mozarella, garlic ( loads of them) , mixed seafood of shrimps, squid, fish and mussels.



Pizza ni sangat flavourful. You gotta try it yourself. 

It is a must to have cake on birthday. ( at least, for me)

 Kalau nak beli one whole cake, rasa macam sangat membazir sebab dua orang je makan so we ordered one slice of RV. too bad, the cake is quite dry. I tak really enjoy this :(
