Shazlin's bachelorette party!

Salam all,

Early November, we all the alice girls organized bachelorette party for Shazlin / Lino ( nama manja) , she's getting married in December.

It was so tough to find a suitable date to do the party because everyone is so busy with own schedules.

The original plan was to do a quick dinner at Wondermilk, then we'll be spending the night at Gardens Hotel. Tapi, Lino need to catch an early flight to JB the next day so we cancel it.

Wondermilk tutup pukul 10pm. Lino, Amy, Shikin and I were stucked in the traffic so I texted the girls minta change place, nasib baik The Bee still ada spots for us. Alhamdullilah semua went well and Lino memang betul-betul terkejut sebab dia tak expect langsung ada party for her. She thought, it was a normal dinner with the alice girls.

The surprise look on her face? Priceless. rugi tak ambil gambar. Lino hampir menangis dah haha!

Anum couldn't make it so she sent this delicious pavlova with love. Sayang nya, lama sangat pavlova tu dalam kereta, so dah a bit penyek sikit.

I bought the sash one day earlier and Amy beli crown tuh sebab yang i jumpa too expensive!

Dynat yang prepare semua decorations ( thank god ada wedding planner dalam our group friends) ,

. I asked her to do pink roses hand bouquet for lino.

and she said, " Haa, pink? Boring lah pink"

Cannot. Lino loves pink. Must do pink. :)

Tapi dynat sangat creative, follow with her idea. pink hydrangea with purple roses. so pretty!

Thank you to semua orang yang contribute, Wan Dotte yang sampai very early to Publika sebab nak book tempat, Wondermilk tak receive reservation. Then kena tuka tempat to The Bee pulak. KB, who helps to contribute ideas and decide place. Seriously many brilliant ideas came up from her.

Amy yang tolong beli apa yang missing. Dynat yang prepare semua decorations.

Im thankful to have you girls. Yanti yang datang even tengah pregnant and thank you to her husband yang sangat sporting and understanding.
 You are the best, Pak Su!

Shikin yang tak pernah join then datang for the first time even dia macam terkejar-kejar sebab ada another friend yang nak visit her house.

Im sure semua yang datang malam tu buat lino sangat happy and the most important is, she will remember this for the rest of her life, maybe? hehe

Wedding Preparation : Make up Artist for solemnization done!

Now i tengah bercuti kat rumah. Seminggu ni memang focus kat persiapaan kahwin aje. Pergi survey here and there. I da dapat make up artist yang i nak. Yeay!

Bace review here and there, so I decided to hire Amy Touch .  Why Amy Touch?

Memang kalau pergi memana, kalau tanya orang, diorang akan suggest ambil lah amy touch. I dah pernah call dia masa nak bertunang dulu, tanya berapa harga if make up simple for engagement, dia cakap RM600.
o_O

Kalau kahwin, ermmm i can just imagine..

So I macam dah cross his name from my list. Tp bila tanya pendapat orang je, dorang mesti suggest amy, and cakap he's the best and top make up artist kat kelantan now. Orang yang nak kahwin tahun 2014 pun dah start booking dia. Peer pressure, so I cari lah his facebook page. Walla! found it here Amy Touch Glitters Face
And i buat research extra sikit, cari gambar brides yang dia makeup kat page photographers. Oh yes, dia memang really good!
So i terus call him that night, dia dah nak tidur kot haha tapi amy sangat nice. dia layan elok-elok. and i terus bank in deposit to him! tapi sadly, dia dah fully booked during my reception day. I sempat hire dia for my akad nikah je :(

So for my reception, i need to find someone else. sob sob

Shogun japanese buffet @ solaris, mont kiara

Salam all,

I dah pernah makan di Shogun kat dua branch diorang, One Utama and Mont Kiara. Tapi for me, I lagi suka makan di Mont Kiara, pilihan makanan dia lagi best. Teppanyaki sana pun lagi best. I rasa food pon lagi fresh.

Last weekend, I and bakal mak mertua keluar lunch together kat Shogun. Tak ambil banyak sangat gambar sebab banyak borak and banyak makan.

Banyak lagi pilihan makanan, ada sashimi section, tempura section, and siapa yang nak makan nasi pun ada lauk-lauk thai and chinese food. Ada section western juga, mushroom soup and garlic bread, miso sup, lamb shank, spaghetti carbonara seafood and banyak lagi.

and for desserts, ada pelbagai fresh fruits, pudding and cakes. ade chocolate fountain. ice cream and gelato. i suka betul gelato kat shogun, black sesame flavour. rare rasa dia :)

Siapa yang suka makan buffet, memang berbaloi lah ke Shogun for the food quality and pilihan menu yang banyak. Selamat mencuba!

Funny phone call

salam all,

Through the highschool years, I have so many silly friends who created the stupid jokes and made fun of each other almost everyday. Worst, when I was 17, we were dormates. Life was good back then, we enjoyed every second of it.

Last night, I called one of my silly friend, Shikin Ramli. We lost contact and I just got her number.

Ayya : Hello, boleh saya bercakap dengan Cik Norashikin Ramli?

Shikin : Ya saya.

Ayya : Saya dari Maybank, Cik Norashikin ada membuat pengeluaran duit sebanyak 3 ribu bulan ni, betul?

Shikin : Eh, takde lah.

Ayya : Tapi dalam rekod kami, Cik Shikin dah keluarkan duit ni.

Shikin : Tapi saya takde maybank pun?

Ayya : HAHAHAHHA!

Shikin : Eh sape ni?

Ayya : Cuba teka?

Shikin : Sape ye?

Ayya : Ni baby lah, orang paling cantik kat sekolah dulu.

Shikin : Ayya?

Ayya : Hahahah betul! Tak sangka kau rasa camtu kat aku, shikin.

Shikin : Eh takde lah, sebab yang perasan-perasan ni kau je.

(-_-) *sigh.

Did I tell you, 4 tahun tak jumpa, and first time we met, I was so excited to see her, I yelled her name, "Shikiinnnnnn!!"
 
Her first reaction was, " Eh apsal kau putih sangat ni? kau duk oversea eh?"

(-_-) why cant you be excited like i did?

Make Up artis di Kelantan

Salam all,

To the date, I still tak dapat cari make up artist kat kelantan for my wedding. Hope balik november nanti, dapat laa cari. Tak sempat langsung nak survey. and kalau boleh memang nak Amy Touch.
Tapi price yang diberikan memang tak mampu untuk ku menanggungnya.
For solemnization and reception, around rm1500. yes, only for the make up.
Maybe orang cakap, okay lah tu. tapi i tak sanggup nak spend that much for make up.
Dah macam harga baju dah... wuwuwuuuu

and if siapa-siapa nak recommend their make up artist. feel free to do so.

Review Engagement : Hantaran from both sides.

Salam all,

Hari ni nak sambung buat review engagement on hantaran.

My side and his side, semua Rukhsana Ridwan team yang buat.

Lets start with hantaran from my side.

I told the team, I nak pastel color hantaran with fresh flowers. and I memang state awal-awal I suka bunga sundal malam and nak letak kat sirih junjung. Bunga ni sangat wangi pada waktu malam ye.

So theme color for my hantaran are pink, white and purple

See that glass tray? I memang dah lama aim nak letak hantaran atas dulang kaca tu. Then, I terjumpa dulang kaca tu kat blog page Hikayat Cinta . So I sewa each for RM25. Sebenarnya nak simpan for akad nikah tapi glass tray ni agak fragile, so I decided to use it during my engagement. Less guests less risk hehe.



Ni pula hantaran cincin tapi cincin nya dah berada di jari tuan punya. hehe

Last Hantaran is chocolate. 5 berbalas 5 ikut adat orang kelantan.

Then from his side pula, H memang serah bulat-bulat kat I. Dia bagi dulang je and biar I decide tema apa.

So theme for his side are yellow and purple.

Cincin from H and his mum, makna nya i dapat 2 cincin heheh yay!

 

 Kain akad nikah yang beli di Bandung June lepas.

Ni pula kain batik crepe yang i beli kat pasar siti khadijah, sebenarnya dah taknak warna purple sebab banyak dah baju color purple tapi my mum insisted that we need to follow color theme. layan je leww.
Now tengah mencari idea for hantaran masa nikah pula. Bride to be, or used to be bride, feel free to share ideas ye  :)

Review Engagement : Mini Pelamin

Today nak buat review pelamin by Rukhsana Ridwan

Susah betul nak cari company yang boleh buat pelamin masa cuti-cuti perayaan. I was having hard time juga. nak cari photographers, nak cari catering sebab bila musim raya, tau saja lah. Ramai ambil kesempatan buat majlis. banyak dah fully booked and ada juga nak beraya, Tak mau ambil job masa cuti.

Bila i decide nak hire Rukhsana Ridwan to do my pelamin is because the owner sangat senang nak discuss. Bukan jenis yang kerek, she is very creative and boleh work dengan our budget.

Our conversations banyak through email. I just cakap I nak color purple, pastel color and nak pelamin simple sangat. Turn out? Yes, sangat puas hati. I seriously takde dalam mind, my mini pelamin akan jadi macam ni. I memang state awal-awal I nak fresh flowers and i bagi a few photos as reference.

 Another problem is, majlis i kat Kelantan. I kena cari vendor yang boleh provide bunga. sebab Rukhsana team based kat Bangi so dorang akan bawak barang je datang sini and bunga ambil kat kelantan. Tak banyak florist yang buka masa raya. kalau buka pon, harga bunga diorang sangat-sangat mahal and I try cari kedai kat cameron highlands yang boleh pos bunga ke Kelantan. tapi sebab musim raya, dorang tutup kedai seminggu.
So I inform team Rukhsana maybe kena pakai artificial flowers je kot.. sedih :(
One week later, owner Rukhsana team called and said, takpe dorang akan bawak bunga tu from kl, tapi dorang gerak malam from kl sebab nak bagi bunga stay fresh and sampai kelantan awal pagi, same day with my majlis. Majlis i start malam. I cam risau jugak. Risky kan? Camne kalau takde bunga?
Tapi I doa je laa banyak-banyak. Rukhsana Team arrived at kelantan dalam pukul 4 pagi and pukul 10 pagi diorang dah start working on my pelamin and hantaran =)

I takde kat rumah the whole day sebab settle kerja di luar. Sampai rumah je tengok pelamin dah 80% nak siap, wauuu! sangat laa kagum and berpuas hati!

Alhamdullilah, memang worth it sangat.

I memang suka mini pelamin, simple and lawaaaaa.

Tengok, besar tak my handbouquet? haha. I cakap I nak hand bouquet yang besar. tamau kecik-kecik.

Sekali dorang bagi yang memang betul besar!

Next time kena mintak yang medium. Besar sangat berat nak pegang and hand bouquet tuh tutup half of my upper body dah.

I will keep this as a sweet memory, after so many dramas masa my engagement.

Alhamdullilah, hasil pelamin ni buat i senyum from ear to ear that night.

It was a very beautiful night, indeed :)
