A little advice

Salam,

From the beginning, I always know what I want. I can be indecisive at times but at the end of the day, I know what I want.
I am more to 'follow-your-mind-not-your-heart' kind of person.

Love yourself first before you fall for others.
Love yourself maksudnya sayang diri, buat pilihan untuk diri sendiri bukan sebab ikut rasa hati, tapi untuk jangka masa panjang.
Love yourself maksudnya, biar lah kita happy dulu sebelum kita happy kan orang lain. Bukan selfish, tapi itu namanya bijak.
Bila memilih teman hidup, bukan semata-mata sebab cinta sahaja. Banyak benda kita perlu consider.
Boleh ke dia jaga kita, boleh ke dia jaga mak ayah kita, boleh ke dia bimbing kita ke jalan yang betul,
boleh ke dia stay dengan kita for better or for worst.

Pilihan ini dibuat bukannya based on this day, this moment tapi for the rest of your life.
and please young ladies, be smart.

And ramai yang fikir, lelaki boleh berubah selepas kahwin.
NOPE. Please jangan berharap macam tuh. Masa you buat keputusan untuk kahwin dengan pilihan hati, terimalah baik  buruk dia seadanya.
Kalau sebelum kahwin, dia dah smoker, janganlah berharap dia akan automatic stop lepas akad nikah.
Kalau dia jenis suka melepak dengan member-member kat mamak , jangan lah expect dia akan terus berubah, duduk rumah aje every night.

For me, ada benda yang kita boleh terima, ada yang tak boleh. Semua orang ada kekurangan, and ada kelebihan, tapi ada sesetengah kekurangan yang kita tak boleh terima. Bila tak boleh terima, you know when to walk away.

Jangan lah terima and tadah aje semuanya.
Accept kekurangan and kelebihan pasangan, insya Allah married life nanti bahagia.
Tapi kalau sebelum kahwin lagi dah tak boleh terima kekurangan pasangan tu, tolong fikir masak-masak sebelum buat keputusan.
Bukan apa, sebab kekurangan ini akan still ada walaupun selepas kahwin, nanti masa tu, baru nak menyesal
memang tak berguna.

One of my friends, she was engaged and 3 months before her wedding, she found out bad side about her future husband. I know its not an easy decision. Bila semua benda dah siap and tunggu masa dilangsungkan aje. Tapi dia firm and tahu, dia kena jaga diri sendiri. She put an end to everything. Its a wise decision and eventhough dia menangis and ambil masa nak okay balik
tapi dia tahu apa yang terbaik untuk diri sendiri and I really respect her. When I asked her, macam mana dia kuatkan hati and teruskan dengan keputusan dia?

she said, " Setiap kali rasa tak tenang, akak akan fikir, boleh ker orang macam dia jadi ayah kepada anak-anak nanti"

If I were in her shoes, I know I cant be tough like her. You are really an iron lady.
And you have all of my respect.

I remember this, from grey's anatomy

"Do you know when to walk away? do you know when not to take less than you deserve?
if you do, then you are honorable man"

I think that applied to woman too.

Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge & The Rocks

Salam, 

Hari pertama di Sydney, mestilah kami mau ke Sydney Opera House dulu! 

I was so excited to see the iconic building in front of my eyes.

Sydney Opera House terletak near Circular Quay. Jadi wherever you are, just pergi je ke Circular Quay. 

I found it easier to travel around Sydney by train, tak pening sangat. 

We went to Circular Quay and Sydney Opera House twice. 

First time pergi waktu pagi, naik ferry pusing Sydney Opera House, lalu Luna Park and go Darling Harbour by ferry juga. 

Second visit, pergi dekat dengan sunset. The view is breathtaking. 

Wajib pergi. 

Tak puas ambil gambar. 

 From Circular Quay, boleh jalan kaki je pergi The Rocks sebab dekat. And kalau nak ke Darling Harbour by ferry pun boleh beli tiket kat situ jugak. Its easy so dont worry. Kat Circular Quay just tempat jalan-jalan and we are lucky sebab masa sampai friday morning tu, ada pop up markets di The Rocks, boleh lah usha usha barang sikit.

Bila sampai di Darling Harbour, ada macam-macam attractions kat sana,
will elaborate more about that later!

First Day in Sydney

Salam all

I went for a short family trip to Sydney on 21st - 26th November 2013.
Semua activities planned sendiri and tak ambil mana- mana package from travel tours.
Kebanyakkan activities I google, read on trip advisor and tanya my friends yang pernah pergi Sydney or study kat Sydney.

Here's my itenerary for 6 Days 5 Nights trip to Sydney :

First Day :
Flight from LCCT KL departs at 910am and arrived in Sydney around 8:00pm. Our flight sampai 20 minutes earlier than expected.
Take a cab at Sydney Airport to go to our apartments in Burwood.
(Will give out more details about our apartments in another post)
Lepas check in kat Comfort Inn & Suites, Burwood. Kami dinner di halal kebab restaurant betul- betul depan apartments yang kami sewa

2nd Day
Go to :
Circular Quay
The Rocks
Take ferry to Darling Harbour
Go to Madame Tussaude Sydney
Sydney Fish Market

3rd Day :
Featherdale Wildlife Park, Blacktown
Paddy's market

4th Day :
Blue Mountains
Three Sisters
Leura Village
Sydney waterfront
Convention centre

5th Day :
Tour around Sydney
Bondi Beach
Sydney Opera House
Sydney Harbour Bridge

6th Day :
Flight back to Malaysia at 1155am

Ini brief sahaja tentang perjalanan kami di Sydney. I will elaborate more on the next post.

Dynat's big day!

Salam all, 

A lil history about Dynat & Ayya.

Dynat is my bestfriend from highschool, masa form one kitorang was dormates. Memang kita always fight with each other, macam anjing and kucing. Maybe sebab dua-dua pun tengah adapt hidup sekolah asrama. Jauh from family and tolerate level memang super low hehe

Dynat and I,  share katil double decker, I punya katil bahagian atas. I selalu gantung stokin kat bed head Dynat just to annoy her,sebab dia garang sangat. and kalau I nampak dia tengah tidur, I akan saja turun katil and buat-buat terpijak muka dia. Dynat was so mean, she once read my diary and told everyone about it. Cis! Tapi biasalah bila duk sekolah asrama, you have no one to lean on except for your friends. 

Lama-lama, kitorang get along and kurang bergaduh. We became so close sampai pergi makan, pergi kelas, pergi prep, outing pun together. Basically everything I did during my highschool, Dynat was there.

Obviously, during highschool I have more than one bestfriends, ( Bestfriends yang lain jangan kecil hati ya, this post is about Dynat sebab tu cerita pasal dia je, I LOVE YOU ALL)

After finished high school, I studied di Penang while Dynat di Cyberjaya, but our friendship still strong. Everytime I ke KL, I will stay at her house. I was there masa her graduation day, and dia pun datang masa my graduation day. And for every big events in my life, Dynat akan ada. If kami tak sempat jumpa, kami akan bergayut kat telefon for hours.

Bila Dynat get married, of course I feel very sad and excited at the same time.
Kami membesar bersama-sama, dan macam tak percaya dah sampai ke tahap ini.

One Night in Suratthani

Salam,

After our honeymoon trip to Koh Samui, we decided to spend one night in Suratthani.

Reason?

Our flight awal pagi from Surat Thani to Kuala Lumpur.

If on the same day baru nak bertolak dari Koh Samui takut terlepas flight.

Selepas google and baca kat tripadvisor, kami chose Wang Tai Hotel. 

Tak banyak hotel yang okay di Surat Thani, sebab Surat Thani ni bukanlah big city.

Sampai je di bus stop Surat Thani, kami terus ke taxi counter. Selepas tu kami beritahu nak ke Wang Tai Hotel. 

Dia suruh book terus untuk ke airport for hari esok. Mula-mula macam takut juga kena tipu tapi kami buat keputusan untuk bayar and book terus, tak payah call cab dah esok. 

Hotel ini agak tua and nampak old school sikit. Tapi setakat tidur satu malam tu boleh lah.
and forget about the buffet breakfast, they served pork.

Dan kami bernasib baik sebab book taxi siap-siap. Ada ramai couples yang nak balik KL stay di hotel tu, baru call taxi pagi-pagi. Jadi keadaan agak kelam kabut sikit.

Kalau siapa-siapa nak bermalam di Surat Thani, boleh lah consider this hotel. Tak mahal pun. dalam RM120 satu  malam.

KGB ( Killer Gourmet Burgers) @ Bangsar

I memang teringin nak check out another gourmet burger place selain dari myburgerlab.

I keep on going back to myburgerlab few times to fulfill my craving. 

Seriously gourmet burgers memang to die for!

This time we want to check out KGB ( Killer Gourmet Burger)

Heard a lot of good review about this place, the burgers must be really good!

Small bottle of coke, very cute. 

This place less crowded than myburgerlab. Sekejap je beratur and terus dapat tempat.

Or maybe sebab kami datang dalam pukul 9pm lebih.

Bukan peak hour. 

KGB SPIKED RM15.90

Crust seared grassfed beef, sharp cheddar, crispy beef bacon and spicy KGB sauce. 

I fell in love with the beef patty at the first bite. So tender, juicy, meaty and flavourful. Didnt really care about the beef bacon but spicy sauce add extra kick to the burger.

Burger No 2:

BASH BURGER RM 18.90

Grilled Grassfeed beef, Beef bacon relish, provolone cheese, Caramelised onions and maple baked cornflakes.

Yes you heard it right, cornflakes. 

Cornflakes in a burger, genius. 

What I like about this burger is, the crunchiness that comes from the cornflakes. 

But the flavour is quite mild, no extra kick in this.

Beef patty and caramelised onions work wonders, but I need sauce, some special sauce to add ummphh into the taste.

Add another RM7 for a set, coke + fries. 

You can choose any flavour of the fries, we chose

Herbed fries and its not memorable. 

I prefer awesome fries at myburgerlab, larger portion and more herbs in it.

Lino's baby shower @ Delicious, Dua Residency

Salam all,

Last Saturday, Lino's sister, Pya planned for her baby shower party. It was a very short notice and since semua orang busy ,we can't gather everyone. Macam mana pun it was still fun and enjoyable.

I went to OU 2 hours before the party, to get her a present. 

I tak pernah masuk kedai yang jual baju baby before. So,I was a bit lost.

Nak beli apa pun tak tahu. Nak beli botol susu, im sure she already bought it. 

Nak beli toys, I dont know which one sesuai with toddlers. 

The salesgirl datang and helped me. Dia bagi a few cadangan yang sesuai for newborn, ada gift yang dah siap wrapped, and tiba-tiba I ternampak ada this fuschia dress. So cute. siap ada pop up flowers kat pinggang. Apa lagi, I cakap kat dia, I want that!!

Excited betul makcik ayya  ni

Dia macam berkerut lah. sebab that dress untuk baby yang dah besar, bukan newborn. 

Dia tunjuk lah baju-baju for newborn tapi semua tak menarik. Huuuuu

I really like that dress. The salesgirl asyik promote other stuff, macam tak bagi je I nak beli,

Masa kat cashier, she reminds me again,

"Kak, baju ni dia tak boleh pakai terus, kena tunggu 3 bulan lebih baru leh pakai. sebab besar, tak sesuai ni for newborn"

haha tak puas hati je kan dorang.

I really like the fish sebab crispy and fresh. And of course, I finished the fish and left the fries to the kids

Kameradansa as my wedding photographer

Salam all, 

Nak mencari photographer agak susah for me sebab I agak cerewet bila ada kaitan dengan photos and videos. Bukan apa, bila dah habis majlis kahwin, apa yang tinggal untuk kita tengok dan kenang kembali adalah gambar-gambar dan video kahwin. 

I memang dah aim a few photographers dari zaman bertunang lagi, and I minta price quotation from them to compare.

Ramai yang tanya, kenapa tak ambil je photographer dari Kelantan? Lagi jimat kos.

Memang I fikir macam tu juga tapi bila berkaitan dengan photographer, 

kita kena tengok a few details. Cara dia ambil gambar, angle yang dia shoot, 

cara dia edit, cara dia edit dalam album. and paling penting chemistry antara kita dan photographer. 

And I sangat puas hati dengan my meeting with Kameradansa Principal, Aliff Afiq.

He is good in entertaining clients. 

So I decided to hire them as my wedding photographer. 

Another reason is, I suka sebab they know how to capture the moments. I tak nak lah semua gambar cuma kami je yang posing sakan. Nak jugak tengok moments masa majlis. Itu yang buat gambar nampak meriah. 

Kameradansa memang pandai bagi ideas for us, yela, kami bukan model professional. Jadi kalau nak posing memang kaku and mati akal. They guide us all the time and alhamdulillah, turned out gambar semua I puas hati.

They are very punctual, I tak mandi lagi, Diorang dah sampai rumah nak capture semua preparations before majlis. Tak sia-sia import jauh dari KL :)

Bride to be, boleh lah start booking your photographer 6 months before your wedding date, lagi awal lagi bagus. Lagi-lagi kalau tarikh kahwin tu memang hot dates macam cuti sekolah, public holidays.
Nanti gigit jari lah sebab photographer yang kita berkenan sudah di booked orang :)
